Due to the COVID-19 outbreak the 2020 Burtle Harbest Home has been postponed until August 7th 2021.

Burtle Village Harvest Home is held every 4 years since its resurrection in 2000.  The last Harvest Home was 2016 and, like the Olympics, is scheduled to be held again in the Summer of 2021.  Plans are already well in hand and 2021 looks set to be the biggest and best ever.

Make a note in your diaries now for this major village celebration, 7th August 2021.

Tickets

Tickets will go on sale at Cafe Burtle in April 2021, tickets for non-residents will be available from May onwards.  Prices to be confirmed in spring 2021.

Please note that any tickets sold for the 2020 event will be honoured at the 2021 event, even if prices have to be increased.

Preference will be given to village residents and supporters of recent Harvest Home events with tickets available at Cafe Burtle in April 2021.  Tickets will be offered to anybody else from May onwards although you may put your name down on a list before then.  As in previous years persons under 18 are not allowed into the marquee during the lunch event other than servers.

Evening - Prices to be confirmed.

Crèche

There will be NO CRECHE provided, parents must make their own arrangements to supervise their children during the lunch.  Use of the hall may be permitted in the event of inclement weather but this will be UNSUPERVISED.  Parents MUST make their own arrangements to supervisor their children.

Live entertainment in the evening

We are delighted to announce that the evening entertainment will commence with a performance from the local Rock Choir.  This national organisation now have choirs all over the country with several in the local Somerset area.

This year's main live entertainment will be provided by Six Machine.  This local band is very popular in the area with a strong following.  Having seen them in action we know you will love them.

Disco - Bar - Pork Baps/Chips

The event will be held at the field adjoining the Burtle Village Hall.  Please note that inside the marquee and hall will be strictly non-smoking.  Car parking is available in the field the other side of the hall.

There is a lot of work to be done both before the event and on the day, if you can help at all please contact a member of the committee.  We are also looking for sponsors to help defray the cost, please visit the Sponsorship page for more details or contact Steve Allen.
